Workspace management levels

On /me, there are 4 types of users in terms of workspace management level:

Workspace owner

  • By default, the first person who created the workspace.

  • Has the full privilege of managing this workspace.

  • Each workspace needs a workspace owner.

  • Only Workspace owner can delete a workspace.

  • Later more Workspace owner specific settings will be introduced, such as billing management.

Workspace admin

  • Can manage all content inside of a workspace, including user management.

  • Can make other people a workspace admin or not.

  • Multiple people can become Workspace admin.

Circle admin

  • Can manage content inside of own circle, for instance managing governance structure by creating a new role/sub-circle.

  • The default circle coordinator role has the Circle admin right.

  • Can make other people a circle admin or not.

  • Only a user filling a role in a circle can become a circle admin.

  • Multiple people can become circle admin.

Regular user

Can only edit content belonging to own roles.

2. On "Users" tab, you can find the user type.

Currently it is not possible to transfer a workspace owner to another user. If needed, please contact help@slashme.com.
